How do I apply Dispel Gel®?
Apply a generous amount to damp face. Avoid getting in eyes.
As the enzymes exfoliate your skin, you may experience a tingling
sensation. The Gel should be left on skin for at least 3 minutes.
For optimum results, the Gel should remain on skin as long
as tingling sensation is comfortable and as long as the Gel
is moist (the Gel is actively exfoliating when moist). The
Gel can be removed and reapplied multiple times in the same
sitting. Use daily or as needed to achieve desired results.
Wash off with soap and water. (To completely inactivate enzyme,
a cotton ball dipped in hydrogen peroxide may be applied to
skin).
How do I apply Dispel® “Touch
& Go” Liquid? Apply Dispel® “Touch
& Go” to the area with a cotton swab and gently
rub back & forth. You may experience a tingling sensation.
Dispel® “Touch & Go” may be left on the
skin (during the day) as long as tingling sensation is comfortable.
If itching occurs, remove with soap and water, & let 12
hours pass before reapplication. Use daily or as needed to
achieve desired results.

5.
Does Dispel® work for acne or breakouts? Yes.
When applied to a blemish, the papain in Dispel® digests
the protein portion of a blemish, allowing the pores to clear
and begin healing. For an overall skin treatment use Dispel®
Gel. For spot treatment of blemishes, apply Dispel® “Touch
& Go” Liquid to the area with a cotton swab and
gently rub back & forth. Dispel® “Touch &
Go” may be left on skin (during the day) as long as
tingling sensation is comfortable.

What if my skin starts itching?
Itching is a sign that the enzyme in Dispel® is dissolving
and digesting the old, damaged skin cells. If the itching
becomes uncomfortable, you can slow the exfoliation process
down by removing the product with soap and water, & let
12 hours pass before reapplication.

8.
What’s the main ingredient in Dispel®?
Dispel® contains a natural enzyme found in papaya called
papain. Papain is a proteolytic (protein digesting) enzyme
which dissolves cross-linked skin cells, there by minimizing
fine lines and smoothing the skin.

9.
How does Dispel® reduce the appearance of wrinkles?
It works by targeting the cross-linked cells of your skin.
Ultraviolet light from the sun is the major cause of skin
cross-linking. The enzyme in Dispel® dissolves/digests
the cross-linked skin when applied topically. Your body already
has natural repair mechanisms which are always working to
replace cross-linked damaged cells. By using Dispel®,
you give your body’s repair process a chance to catch
up.
10.
Are there any side effects? If
used as directed, slight redness or itching may occur. First
time users may experience slight flaking and peeling as the
skin acclimates to the enzymatic exfoliation. (With continued
use, you will develop an increased tolerance and be able to
leave it on for longer).

11.
How soon will I see results? The
very first time you use Dispel® you will experience its
exfoliation properties and your skin will feel and look much
smoother. How long before you see a reduction in wrinkles
and an improvement in skin texture will depend upon how your
skin tolerates the product and how often you use the product.

12.
How do I inactivate Dispel® if I continue to feel tingling
and itching? Remove
with soap and water. To completely inactivate enzyme, use
a cotton ball dipped in hydrogen peroxide and apply to skin.
(The hydrogen peroxide denatures the enzyme in Dispel®).

13.
I've been using Dispel® for awhile now, and I no longer
feel my skin tingle when I apply it. Has my tube exceeded
its shelf life? No!
Your Dispel® is still working on your skin! As long as
you do not expose the tube to high heat (above 95°F) or
freezing temperatures, your Dispel® has a generous shelf
life of at least 6 months.
There is a reason you do not feel your skin tingle in the
manner it did when you first began using the product. Dispel®
targets cross-linked skin cells. The first time using the
product, most likely you have never removed any of these surface
cross-linked skin cells by any natural or cosmetic procedure.
So there are more cross-linked cells on your skin when you
first use the product, than at any other time. You feel the
tingling as Dispel® works all over your skin. With frequent
use of Dispel®, more and more of these damaged cells are
removed. So the tingling sensation decreases in proportion
to the removal of cross-linked cells.

Can I use other products in addition to Dispel®?
Consult your doctor before using Dispel® if you are currently
using prescription skin medications. That being said, I feel
that Dispel® enhances any “over-the-counter”
skin care regimen, because of its exfoliation properties.
Your skin is clean, clear, smooth and ready to absorb any
further treatments.

Dispel® Do's and Don’ts
Do stop using at the
first sign of redness or irritation.
Do be gentle with your face. Certain areas on your face have
thin skin, such as the bridge of your nose, or under your
eyes. Don’t rub Dispel® vigorously in these areas,
or you may experience redness and/or irritation.
Don’t use it right before your High School reunion (or
other such event) for the first time ever, before you know
how your skin will tolerate the product.
Don’t use it on your face if you just got a spray tan.
